Choose your plan
Two numbers decide your plan: how many organic sessions your website has in a month, and how many key events you want to track. A third, how far back you want historical data, can push you one size up.
Time: about 5 minutes · You need: access to your Google Analytics 4 property
1. Count your organic sessions
Section titled “1. Count your organic sessions”- Open your original property in Google Analytics, not the Keyword Hero one.
- Set the date range to a full month with a lot of traffic.
- Open Reports → Acquisition → Traffic acquisition.
- Read the Sessions figure in the Organic Search row.
2. Find the plan that covers them
Section titled “2. Find the plan that covers them”| Plan | Organic sessions per month |
|---|---|
| Little Hero (free) | 2,000 |
| Big Hero | 10,000 |
| Giant Hero | 50,000 |
| Ultimate Hero | 250,000 |
| Ultimate Pro | More than 250,000, on request |
If your sessions fall between two plans, take the larger one. Sessions above the limit are not matched.
3. Check the key events
Section titled “3. Check the key events”Then check whether that plan tracks enough key events. Only move up a plan if it does not.
| Plan | Key events |
|---|---|
| Little Hero | None |
| Big Hero | 1 |
| Giant Hero | 3 |
| Ultimate Hero | 10 |
4. Check the history
Section titled “4. Check the history”Each paid plan can load past data once, after setup. If you need a year-on-year comparison straight away, that decides it.
| Plan | Historical data |
|---|---|
| Big Hero | 1 month |
| Giant Hero | 6 months |
| Ultimate Hero | 16 months |
Plans and limits lists the other features that differ between plans, such as search intent and the MCP server.
5. Change the plan
Section titled “5. Change the plan”- Open your Keyword Hero profile.
- Click the gear icon next to the domain.
- Choose Configure.
- Go to the plan step, the fifth disc.
- Select the plan and choose Continue.
Check it worked
Section titled “Check it worked”The plan shows on the project in your profile, and the upgrade notices inside the app disappear for the period your plan covers.
